To reserve your space for Worship in Church.
In order to help us with the voluntary NHS Test and Trace data collection and to reduce potential queuing to get into services we would like to encourage congregations to reserve a seat for Worship in Church.
Please Note: You will be sent an email ‘ticket’ which confirms your reservation; you do not need to print it.
In order to collate the paperwork ready for the service the reservation system will close at 12.00 noon on Friday
You will also be able to turn up on the day, but please be aware that due to the 2m social distancing the capacity in our churches has reduced by 75%. Therefore once we are at our maximum seating we will not be allowed to admit any more people.

Benefice Office in open Monday to Friday 9.30 am until 2.30 pm daily
We have in place measures to keep them safe.
Please do keep any visits to the Office as short as possible to avoid filling in Test and Trace Consent forms, use the hand sanitizer provided and keep to current social distancing recommendations.

Angela
On Saturday 26th September our curate Angela is being ordained deacon at Peterborough Cathedral.
In normal circumstances this would be a great occasion with friends, family and members of Angela’s sending church filling the cathedral and supporting her with prayers.
This year many changes have had to be made which means the gathering can be no more than 30 people and that each candidate will only be allowed the Training Incumbent and one guest present.
However there is some good news as well, the whole service will be “live streamed” so rather than that long drive we can watch it from the comfort of our homes and be able to support her with our prayers.
In next Friday’s mailing there will a link to the service.
Please do pray for Angela as she prepares for her ordination and for Chris and their wider family.
Please also pray for the ministry team as we support and care for one another.

The Towcester Foodbank is concerned that people in any kind of crisis are struggling to make ends meet and having to decide where their money is spend.
Foodbank Those people may not be aware that the foodbank is there for everyone who is in need.
If you or anyone you know is struggling to buy food due to money problem please let us know.

Foodbank and Donations
The foodbank is currently very well stocked at the moment due to the generosity of the donors.Foodbank
A very big thank you to all who have given both groceries and money.
The Trustees, along with other foodbanks, anticipate more demand later in the summer and autumn as some redundancies and unemployment are forecast.

Tinned salmon and sponge puddings are very welcome at present.
Otherwise, we would be grateful for a reduction in giving for the next month or so, especially as we move back into St. John Ambulance Hall at the end of June and storage for all the stock will be a challenge.
Thank you again for your generosity.
Lulu Pelly, Trustee
