This is a Fifth Sunday so we are planning to hire a coach and go to the “BIG” Pentecost Service at Peterborough Cathedral.

Bishop’s Bible Day
Bishop’s Bible Day Saturday 14th March Saturday 14th March 9.30 am to 4 pm at Northampton High School.
The theme is “The Bible and Prayer”.

Churches Together 2020 Lent Course    
The Benefice Lent course,  “Reconciliation and Restoring Harmony”, which runs for 5 weeks in Lent starting the week of  Monday 3rd March.
Sign-up sheets for a variety of venues, days and times are available at the back of back Church.  
Please sign up for this course.
Places can also be booked through the Benefice Office.


St Mary Easton Neston
St Mary Easton Neston There is now a security gate restricting vehicular (but not pedestrian) access to the estate and the Church.
It will be open for services, but if you need regular access at other times, please register your number plate via the Office.
For an occasional visit, just ring the phone number you’ll see by the gate.

Lent Lunch 
Wednesday 4th March at Bradden Village Hall/Reading Room from 12.30 pm to 2.00 pm.
The visiting speaker will be Jean Morgan, Chair for Home Start.
Soup and bread lunch suggested donation of £5 (all profits to be divided between Home Start and St Michael’s Church Bradden.)
No need to book and all are welcome.

Bring and Share Lunch
After the St Lawrence APCM on 15th March there will be a bring and share lunch in The Chantry.
Everyone from the Benefice is welcome to join us.
If possible please let Marion Hyde, Eileen Reid, Linda Blythe or Pat Samuel know if you will be coming or just turn up ‘with a plate to share’.

Easter LiliesIf you would like to donate money for Easter lilies, in memory of a loved one, please leave your donation in the Benefice Office in a clearly named envelope. 



Musica Charity Choir MK at St Lawrence
Musica Charity Choir MK at St Lawrence16th May at 7.30 pm a concert by Musica Charity Choir MK at St Lawrence.
A mixed programme of music to raise funds for the Church.
Tickets are £12.50 which includes refreshments and will be on sale in a couple of weeks from the Benefice Office.

Ash Wednesday is on 26th February to mark the beginning of the season of lent Imposition of Ashes and Communion and will be at:
10.15 am in St Lawrence and
7.30 pm at St Bartholomew’s.

World Day of Prayer
World Day of Prayer - Churches Together in TowcesterChurches Together in Towcester will be holding a Service on Friday 6th March at 10.30 am at St Lawrence Church.
This year’s service has been written by the women of Zimbabwe who call on us to "Rise! Take Your Mat and Walk"

Annual Parish Council Meetings
Following the first PCC meetings of the year we are now looking ahead to annual church meetings (APCM) which will be happening across the Benefice; 15th March for Towcester and Greens Norton, 22nd March for Bradden and 4th April for Easton Neston (tbc).  
This year there are a number of roles that are becoming vacant and we need to find replacements.  
In addition to one Churchwarden at both Towcester and Greens Norton we also need to elect three PCC members for Towcester (all end of terms), an Electoral Roll Officer & Gift Aid Officer for Greens Norton, a Benefice Safeguarding Officer, and this year is the three yearly election of Deanery Synod representatives for each of the parishes.  
Please can I ask you pray that we will be able to fill these roles and prayerfully consider if you would be able and willing to stand for election.  
Please speak with Revd Paula, Revd Lulu or your Churchwardens.

Electoral Roll
This is the time of the year when The Benefice needs to revise its Electoral Rolls.
If you are not on the Electoral Roll and would like to be, please ask your Electoral Roll officer or one of the Churchwardens for a form. 
This is th elast week 
For St Lawrence and St Mary’s are available in the foyer at St Lawrence or from the Benefice Office
For St Bartholomew’s forms will be at the back of the Church.
For St Michael’s forms can obtain from Margaret Pickering 16 Willow Hill, or call 860335.
To vote at your APCM or to serve on your PCC you need to be on the Electoral Roll.
This is the last week for names to be added to St Bartholomew’s, St Lawrence, and St Augustine’s.
