Rev Paula’s Institution as Rector of the Tove Benefice
Rev Paula’s Institution as Rector of the Tove Benefice Invitations to this event on 21st September at 3.00 pm have been sent out. 
If you have not received an invitation speak to one of the Churchwardens.  
If you wish to attend this service then please RSVP to the Office by 7th September so that we can arrange seating.  
There are a lot of people expected at this service.
This event will need catering and we will be circulating requests in due course.

Vergers needed
We have a number of baptisms at St Lawrence on a Sunday afternoon at 2.30 pm.  
We need some volunteers to help set up and welcome the family to Church.  
This is an ideal opportunity to welcome new families.  
All training is provided.

Little Sprouts
Little SproutsWe are looking for volunteers to help with Mondays at St Lawrence 9.00 am to 11.00 am.

Thank You to all who helped in any way with the Patronal Weekend at St Lawrence and the Flower Festival
We raised £955.03 from the Flower Festival and took £512 so far on the Raffle Tickets.

Summer Draw 2019 
We are currently selling Draw Tickets to raise funds for necessary Church fabric.  
Please can you buy and sell as many as possible.

Collect them from one of our Churchwardens or the Office

The Chantry Group will not be meeting during August and will re-commence in September.

Twelve Bells Competition and Church Fete
On the 28th September the Bell Ringers are hosting a twelve bell ringing competition for ringers throughout the area.  
In conjunction St Lawrence will be hosting a “Fete”.  
We need items for the following stalls: 
     Cake (to buy and for refreshments), Tombola, Books and White Elephant.  
There will also be some game stalls so volunteers to run these will also be needed.  
More details to come.

The Foodbank Thank you for all your generous donations.  
Some families struggle in school holidays to make ends meet.
The Foodbank greatly appreciate all donations. 
The Foodbank has quite good stocks of baked beans, soup, pasta and vegetables.  
It has low stock of rice, sponge puddings, coffee, tinned fruit, pasta sauce, tinned meats, spaghetti hoops, jam and powdered milk.
Reminder lists are available at the back of Church.
